Jab Tak Hai Jaan premiere

To all those who celebrates, first of all, a very Happy Diwali!!

To kick things off this Diwali, its the premiere of the most awaited Bollywood movie of the year, Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The who's who of the industry came together for a celebration of the legendary film-make Yash Chopra. Lets break it down.

We first have, the three leading actors, Anushka Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.

Anushka was a complete knock-out in a blue Roberto Cavalli gown. Paired with a pair of diamond studs and 1920s do, it made for a stunning look!

Katrina, again, opted for an Indian look with a maroon embellished gold Tarun Tahiliani saree gown. There is no denying she wears the look well, but the same ol' hair is seriously getting old.

Not quite sure who made the double breasted suit Shah Rukh is wearing, but am not a fan of it. The wide lapel just didn't work on him.

Parineeti Chopra opted for a Gauri and Nainika gown for the premiere. I do love the gown on her but don't think that;s the right do to go with it. Perhaps a ponytail. She looked beautiful nonetheless.

A Sabyasachi creation has become a sure thing on a Bollywood big event red carpet and this time its on Rani Mukherji. She was in a champagne and black lehenga saree with red border. She looked beautiful. I even love the pearls.

Aamir isn't one to usually make it to our pages, and now he made it for the wrong reasons. His puzzling choice of tweed vest of black shirt, paired with grey dhoti pants and high tops. What was he thinking?

Aamir Khan

Its sad when a good looking man doesn't dress to his full potential. This was the case with the usually stylish Hrithik Roshan. Instead of a beautifully cut suit, he opted for a white t-shirt over a distressed denim, paired with blue sports jacket and black shoes. The distressed denim looked like a choice made out of stress. Not event appropriate at all!

Suzanne Roshan fared a bit (emphasize on the bit) better than her hubby with an Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla suit. The color looked a bit washed out on her, and the same ol' hair and sloppy clutch isn't helping either.

Abu and Sandeep has been Aishwarya's go-to designer and its no different this time. The premiere saw her in a white and gold suit with red border by the designer duo. A gold clutch and sindoor completed her look. The suit wasn't really working for me, the gold horizontal embellishment was a bit of an eye-soar.

Abhishek, however, balanced out his wife's 'blingy' look with a sleek Nehru style black suit. He looked dapper.

Sonam Kapoor was in an Elie Saab gown for the premiere. Even being in white, the gown was an attention grabber, as good as a wedding gown. She completed her look with drop earrings, white clutch  and cocktail ring. The hair was especially refreshing. Gorgeous!

Avantika Malik Khan wore a Shehlaa by Shehla Khan saree, which didn't quite do her any favor. The long sleeve blouse and hairdo, added oodles of weight on her.

The Surily lehenga saree on Preity made for a welcome change. Loving the color on her!

Another one who just can't seem to get over her same ol' hairdo is Gauri Khan. That said, the Tarun Tahiliani blue saree gown she had on was beautiful, though the clutch was an unwanted distraction.

Wearing a fresh off the runway gown was Bipasha Basu in a pink Nandita Mahtani. The dress looked svelte on her but still not one bit digging the new hairsyle. She finished her look with kundan necklace and cream heel. Wasn't quite feeling the look on the whole.

Ameesha wore a white gown to the premiere, in her usual style, paired with drop earrings. To add is red lips against the pale skin. She is really in desperate need of a good stylist!

Bollywood leading men were also present at he premiere.

Amitabh Bachchan was in a double breasted tux, Karan Johar in his usual black suit, Neil Nitin Mukesh in an off-looking velvet jacket over black shirt and pants and red tie and Akshay Kumar mixed it up with a dark blue suit over a light blue shirt. The sunglasses was a fail attempt to look cool for a midnight premiere though.

More actors like Shahid Kapoor, Imran Khan in Dolce & Gabanna grey suit with pick pocket square over a blue shirt an navy tie, Arjun Kapoor in a Dolce and Gabanna black suit over  white shirt and skinny tie and Anil Kapoor  in black Nehru suit also walked the premiere carpet.

For the men, I gotta give it to Imran Khan. What about you guys?
